Dr. Mary Simms is the Founder & Director of Family Outreach Counseling Services, a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural professional counseling center with a Christ-centered approach. She is also a featured speaker and preacher at various church conferences and retreats. She has a PH.D. In Theo centric Counseling and Masters’ Degrees in both Marriage & Family and Pastoral Counseling.

Dr. Simms is a licensed Marriage and Family counselor with over twenty five years of experience in professional clinical settings and serves a multi-ethnic, multi cultural clientele. She is a counselor with a Christ Centered approach, helping families and individuals uncover and discover God’s great plan for their lives. Her mission is to promote emotional growth and empower people to maximize their God given potential to live their best lives.

Dr. Simms has had over twenty years of professional counseling and speaking experience, working in the areas of marriage and family; relationship issues; abuse; addictions and recovery; grief and loss; depression and anxiety issues; boundaries; and interpersonal and personal growth issues. She has worked and taught both on the university level as well as in hospital settings and is currently in private practice as a licensed clinician.
